After much thoughtful discussion, the Board of Directors and co-directors of Blue Tower Solutions have jointly decided that the time is right to bring Blue Tower Solutions to an end on November 30, 2026, our ten-year anniversary.

Blue Tower Solutions was founded in 2016 when Shirley Paceley gathered colleagues Krescene Beck, Leanne Mull and Linda Sandman to form a non-profit organization based on keeping the voices of self-advocates at the forefront of all we did. Creating cultures of respect, inclusion, dignity and equality knows no geographic boundaries. Over our 10-year journey, Blue Tower Solutions worked with many self-advocates and organizations in Illinois, around the United States, and beyond. Elevating the voices of people with disabilities and striving for equity in services and solutions is a universal foundation.

The co-directors want to thank everyone who guided us when we were beginning and everyone who has served on our board over the last ten years, in particular the Chairman of the Board, Jennifer Knapp and Board Secretary, Barbara Pritchard, both of whom have served on the board since we began. Additionally, the co-directors want to thank all of the self-advocate consultants who have worked with us over the years, your involvement and insight have shaped our work.
